Your Famous Glam frames are made from premium acetate with quality lenses. A little care keeps them looking new.
Every day
- Rinse the lenses under cool running water before wiping. Dust is abrasive, and wiping it dry is what scratches lenses.
- Dry with the microfibre cloth supplied. Never use a shirt, a tissue or paper towel.
- Take them off with two hands. One-handed removal is what bends frames out of shape.
Storage
- Keep them in their case when not worn.
- Never rest them on the dashboard or anywhere hot. Heat warps acetate permanently.
- Do not push them onto your head. It stretches the frame and loosens the fit.
What to avoid
- Household cleaners, alcohol and glass cleaner. They strip lens coatings.
- Seawater and chlorine. Rinse with fresh water immediately if either gets on them.
If a frame ever needs adjusting, most optometrists will do it in a minute.
