These terms apply to your use of this website and to everything you buy from us. Please read them before you place an order. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

2. Orders and when a contract is formed

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept that offer, and a contract comes into being, only when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order we will tell you and refund you in full.

3. Stock

Many of our colourways exist in very small numbers, sometimes a single pair. Although the website shows live stock levels, it remains possible for two people to order the last frame at almost the same moment. If that happens we will contact you, offer you an alternative colourway or a place in the next production run, and refund you in full if neither suits you.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within South Africa unless you choose Express.

We take care with our pricing, but if an obvious error appears, for example a frame listed at a small fraction of its normal price, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you, and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Payment is processed by Payfast. We never see or store your card details.

5. Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

Your right to return an item, and the 12-month warranty that comes with every frame, are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

7. Using this website

You may browse and buy for your own personal use. You may not copy our photography or text for commercial use, use the site fraudulently, or attempt to interfere with it. We may withdraw or change any part of the site at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The Famous Glam name, the rosette mark, the wordmark, the product photography and the text on this site belong to us and are protected by law. Nothing on this site gives you a licence to use them.

9. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and with POPIA.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

13. Getting hold of us

If something has gone wrong, contact us first. We would rather fix it directly than have you take it further.
